Acute dermatitis - Image
Image
Acute dermatitis. An unusual case of plant contact dermatitis. The young child "painted" her face with the whitish exudate of the plant Euphorbia leuconeura. The next day acute dermatitis started to develop, leading to bullous lesions. Skin testing with the plant on the skin of the arm was positive, but five control persons tested negative. Specific contact allergy is obvious.
