Acrodermatitis continua (Hallopeau) in the skin of the thumb

Acrodermatitis continua (Hallopeau) in the skin of the thumb. Acrodermatitis continua (Hallopeau) in the skin of the thumb in an elderly male patient. This variant of psoriasis tends to be quite therapy-resistant. Often the best therapeutic success is achieved with methotrexate, but potent topical corticosteroids, oral tetracyclines and oral acitretin are worth trying.
