A furrow of scabies mite in the skin of the wrist. A furrow of scabies mite in the skin of the wrist which may be the most typical site for the Sarcoptes scabiei to be found. The mite can be seen as a darkish spot at the end of the furrow and may be picked up with a needle for inspection under microscope. The sight will convince even the most suspicious patient and improve therapeutic compliance.
