A viral wart under the distal nails of the both thumbs. A viral wart under the distal nails of both thumbs. Clinical picture may sometimes mimic fungal infection. This case, which has lasted for 2 years, proved resistant to cryotherapy, but after three trials of unsuccessful cryotherapy, oral therapy with 50 mg/kg of body weight/day of cimetidine for 1 month resulted in complete healing.
