Angular cheilitis (atopic dermatitis) at the corner of the mouth in a child

Angular cheilitis (atopic dermatitis) at the corner of the mouth in a child. Angular cheilitis in children usually results from atopic dermatitis, rarely from a yeast infection. The cheilitis persists in birch pollen allergic patients, for example, through recurring contact with vegetables, root vegetables or fruit that cause contact urticaria.
