Alopecia universalis - Image

Alopecia universalis. Total and universal alopecia are extreme forms of alopecia. Total alopecia is confined to the scalp, whereas the universal type is characterised by the disappearance of eyelashes, eyebrows and other body hair. Recovery from total alopecia is rare.
